We want to make you aware of a scam that has recently been reported to us.

Some individuals have received phone calls from people claiming to represent our fraud department. During these calls, the scammers attempt to collect sensitive information such as debit card expiration dates, verification codes, or other personal details.

Please remember that Commodore Perry Federal Credit Union will never contact you to request confidential information, including:

· One-time passcodes (OTP)

· Full debit or credit card numbers

· Online banking passwords

· Security verification codes

If you receive a call asking for this type of information, please hang up immediately.

If you ever have concerns about whether a call is legitimate, we encourage you to hang up and call us directly at 419-898-3366. Scammers can make phone numbers appear to be from a legitimate business (caller ID spoofing). We’re always available to verify any member contacts from our team by calling us directly.

Our team is aware of these reports and is actively working to protect our members.
